Send Our School to Your
People
There's
no better or more efficient way to handle routing pressure
relief valve maintenance or possible repair than having your
own people do the job on the spot, within your own plant.
And there is no better way to train them for this vital function
than having them attend a Farris Engineering, one-day, pressure
relief valve maintenance seminar which can be held: 1. At
your plant 2. On a date best suited to your operating schedule.
The personnel you select to attend will be schooled in the
function and practical operation of pressure relief valves
and learn how to cope with both routine and unusual
valve problems should they occur. At the seminar's conclusion,
they will be capable of initiating proper valve maintenance
procedures and operating practices, and will be prepared
to act promptly and decisively if an emergency arises. As
all training will be conducted by an expert with many years
of both technical training and practical service experience,
attendees are assured of effective in-depth instruction.
Added to the obvious service advantages, your maintenance
and quality assurance people will gain from these seminars
are the following plus benefits:
Savings: You can
save on travel and living expenses because your employees do
not have to leave your plant. You pay one per diem fee no matter
how many people attend the seminar (groups to 15 recommended).
Timing: You can
schedule an on-site seminar whenever you want it, so your people
can attend at a time that fits your organization's natural
work cycles.
Focus:Being in-plant,
the seminar can be focused on your specific maintenance problems
and their solutions.
Motivation:Planning
an on-site seminar is a productive way to reward your people
and express your confidence in them, by offering additional
job training.
The comprehensive pressure relief valve curricula presented during the training
program deals with common problems and remedies. Included is a review of ASME
Codes and specific service problems encountered in the petrochemical process,
power, pulp and paper industries.
The first half of the program includes product introductions, fundamentals
of operation and installation. This is followed by a series of "hands on" activities
that will give your personnel a chance to actually disassemble, inspect, reassemble,
and test a valve. All facets of pressure relief maintenance are covered including
the correct procedure for lapping seats and disc. In all, no task that a valve
technician must perform is overlooked. Upon completion of the course each student
will have acquired a thorough education in the basics of pressure relief valve
operation and repair.
